Keng Wai Chan, a Dphil research student graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from University Science of Malaysia, is currently developing a novel solar air-condition system in University of Oxford. His novel device ultilizes solar heat and electricity for air conditioning in hot climate. This project has been listed on the top 100 inventions of the year on Times magazine in 2008.
