The SSEA is calling everyone to help the victims of the recent earthquake in China.
Shortly after 3pm on May 2008, a deadly earthquake measuring at 7.8 on the Richter scale hit Sichuan province in western China, leaving more than 20,000 dead and many more still trapped or missing. It is feared that the casualty number may rise to over 50,000 with nearly half a million people left homeless.
This is the worst earthquake to hit China in more than 30 years and the scale of the relief operations is unprecedented. Immediate assistance is needed to save lives and help the survivors through the aftermath of the disaster. The SSEA has donated to the relief efforts and is calling everyone to help the victims of this horrible earthquake.
Please, if you are able to, use the following information to help in any way you can.
