Shangyi County, Hebei Province built Shenhua demonstration plot of 20KW Wind & 20 KW Light complementary electricity-generation in Jun 2006.  It came to operation in Oct 2008, and began to take full advantage of the complementarity of wind and solar power to alleviate the drawbacks of one single renewable energy.
